Muscle Building Recipe
Lemon Zest Chicken
Yield: 3 to 6
Skinning Prep: approx. 1.5 to 2 minutes per chicken.
Oven prep: approx: 5 to 10 min. overall.
Cooking temp: 350 degrees.
Cook times: Searing outside: 5 min. per breast half (2.5 min. per side on
high heat / minimum oil in pan.)
Oven bake w/ foil covering: 1 hour.
Oven bake w/o foil covering: 15 min. to darken top.
After skinning and then pan searing, in a oven bake pan add the following
6 - Chicken breast halves
3 - Cups water
1 - Cup white balsamic vinegar
1 - Lemon and peeled lemon zest
Garlic Powder (if you don't have garlic cloves)
Basil, parsley, monounsaturated butter, extra virgin olive oil.
Notes: Add the olive oil first, followed by water and balsamic vinegar.
Next add garlic, basil, parsley, butter, lemon and lemon zest. Once cooked
with foil on for one hour, remove foil, base chicken with the juice at the
bottom and cook without the foil for 15 min. until done.
