Vegetable cooking spray_
1 1/2 cups (1 inch pieces) cut onion
1 cup (1 inch pieces) cut green bell pepper
2 tablespoons coarsely chopped jalapeno pepper(make sure to take out all the seeds if you don't want it too hot)
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 pound freshly ground turkey
2 (14 1/2 ounce) cans no salt added whole tomatoes, undrained and
1 (16 ounce) can pinto beans, undrained
1/2cup whole kernel corn
2 tablespoons chili powder
1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
1/8 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon salt

Coat a medium saucepan with vegetable cooking spray; place over medium heat until hot; cook about 5 minutes or until turkey is browned, stirring frequently. stir well. I drain the meat (lean hamburger is fine too) in a colander and rinse it under water. This makes it very lean. Then I coat a saucepan with vegetable cooking spray and cook the vegetables separately.
Add remaining ingredients.
Bring to a boil; reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered, 20 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Yield; 6 servings (about 199 calories per 1 1/3 cup serving
